More Attention to Homelessness and Lower Class Mobility (work programs, etc)
More Attention to Homelessness and Lower Class Mobility (work programs, etc) - Jake - 03-17-2023One of the greatest resources known to be is desperation. There is a huge workforce out there that remains basically untapped. The lowest classes: the homeless and destitute have very few options which involve much desperation.Granted, much homelessness would be cleared up by a public detox for Thimerosal/mercury poisoning from the vaccines, but homelessness will always be an issue none-the-less.Languishing homeless and destitute individuals usually resort to robbery or worse and most of the time languish in jail or on the streets with not much help, and can't even find a shower or a restroom for God's sake.Attention should be paid to these people because after all, they are humans, but more than that, they are an untapped resource which needs to be retracted, because they create alot of drag, much of it spiritual, which makes us look bad, much less drags us down as a respectable economy.I have alot of ideas on the subject, as do others. One of the major things which should be addressed are public facilities which would allow the homeless to get a leg to stand on.A major issue with the homeless is finding a job and keeping it due to hygene. Many homeless just flat out cannot find a shower, and in most cities, cannot even find a public restroom. If you aren't clean and presentable, you cannot hold a job, even if you are qualified.Such a situation encourages criminal behavior, which promotes a society of criminals, which debases propriety and general skill levels, which without doubt has led to the situation we are in. Day in and day out, I see alot of rich people who I sense have stolen their way up, who then are able to have children and spread their bad genes. Meanwhile, good, more finely skilled and tuned people get washed out because they chose not to turn to crime, yet were unable to hold a position in society, over peanuts.Every city should have a designated area where the homeless can come in and get a shower. Many cities do have facilities, but they are usually on a lottery basis and are way overcrowded and not functioning as intended. These facilities usually focus more on boarding and less on hygene. The homeless should be given free bus passes and access to an open air type facility where they can get clean. In another post, I recommend free public transit, which it should be anyway, taxed through the treasury instead of through the individual. There should be designated land set up outside of the city where the homeless can camp, providing tents and an area to charge electronics, with public transit to a hub.If boarding facilities are created, these facilities should focus on employing these individuals in return for board, with options for people to work more in order to save money for a place to live.I believe that the State should also have a public work program for the homeless, etc, so that individuals who absolutely need work, can find it, though at below minimum wage. These programs should require a few months' or even years' commitment, and could wisk participants off into the countryside for labor intensive jobs where they can get their hands dirty and get some fresh air. These programs should dock a percentage of pay for a lump payout at the end of the program, in order to ensure that participants get set in life better. But most of all, these programs should be profitable to the State.Massive amounts of public expenditure is wasted on the fallout of the immobility of the homeless. With just a few simple fixes, we can reduce wasted expenditure yet furthermore, tap into these individuals as a resource and simultaneously train them into a worthy commodity, elevating our society's value, benefiting all, in synergy's way.
